Buy Viagra Online

Viagra is the original and best known erectile dysfunction treatment first launched in 1998. Sildenafil is the cheaper generic version available in the UK since 2013.

Viagra is taken around one hour before sexual activity and the remains in the bloodstream for 4 hours. The onset of action can be delayed if consumed with a meal.

The side effects of Viagra are usually mild, with the treatment being well-tolerated and effective. They both come in 25mg, 50mg and 100mg strengths.

The starting dose of Viagra is 50mg to be taken one hour before sexual activity

Most men will find that the 50mg starting dose has the desired effect, but if it does not work on four separate occasions, the dose should be increased to 100mg (provided there are no side effects). If side effects are felt on 50mg, then a 25mg dose should be used the next time.

Viagra should be used on multiple and separate attempts before considering it is not effective for you.

Viagra FAQS

What is the difference between Viagra and sildenafil?

Sildenafil is simply a generic medication & is cheaper than its branded counterpart.

Essentially, when buying Viagra, you are paying for the brand (which has been sold to millions) Some aspects are quite different, name, appearance & cost, however the actual medicinal content and end results are the same.

As the sole makers of Viagra, Pfizer charge a higher premium for their drug. Sildenafil, which performs the same job & is also subject to the same regulated production practices, is made by multiple competing companies, resulting in a lower price.

Do I need a prescription for Viagra?

You no longer need a prescription for Viagra and can buy “over the counter.”

A GP can still prescribe Viagra, Yes, but here is some information: a private prescription is not written on an official NHS prescription form and is not paid for by the NHS.

The cost of a private prescription is met wholly by the patient and is dictated by the cost of the medicine plus the pharmacist's charge for supplying it.

Viagra & Viagra Connect became available to buy “over the counter” without a prescription in the UK. In November 2017, it was announced that Viagra pills would be sold over the counter soon to stop men illegally purchasing knock-off versions online.

Men over the age of 18 who seek to buy erectile dysfunction treatments simply must answer a few questions at a pharmacy or complete a short questionnaire online before the transaction is confirmed.

Can You Get Viagra for FREE on the NHS?

It is available for some men on the NHS, under certain conditions.

It mostly depends on your definition of ‘getting treated on the NHS’: for some people this means acquiring a medication from the NHS free of charge; whereas for others, it means getting medication at the reduced rate or standard levy (currently £8.60 - correct at the time of writing) offered by the state health service.

Viagra itself, as in the named product developed by Pfizer, is only available on the NHS for free or at the standard levy under specific circumstances. Sildenafil, the generic version, tends to be more widely offered.

What is the difference between Viagra, Cialis and Levitra?

Viagra vs Cialis

Viagra, Cialis and Levitra all contain similar ingredients and essentially work in the same way. A big difference in the treatments is the length of time that the medicine is effective for in your system.  Cialis is effective for a period of 36 hours; during which it helps you get an erection. Levitra and Viagra will be effective for 4-6 hours and is to be taken 30 minutes to 1 hour before sex. Cialis tablets can be taken in the morning and will still be effective well into the evening.

You can also get Cialis as a daily treatment. Cialis daily 5mg tablets contain a low dose of the active ingredient tadalafil, and they are suitable for men who have sex more than twice a week. There is no “daily” version of Levitra or Viagra.

A person can take Cialis every day to keep the body ready for sexual stimulation at any time. This allows for some sexual freedom that may be missing with the other options.

Viagra vs Levitra

Viagra and Levitra are very similar. Viagra contains sildenafil and Levitra contains vardenafil, both of which improve the blood flow to your penis. Both are effective for 4 hours and need to be taken about one hour before sex.

Studies have shown that men who have diabetes and who found that ED treatments failed to help them get an erection, experienced an improvement when using Levitra.

It is generally possible that either Viagra or Levitra work better for you. If you are unhappy with one treatment, you can ask your doctor whether you can try the other.

Each person is different, and a drug that suits one person may not be suitable for another.

For men who do not regularly engage in sexual activity and would rather take one pill each time they plan on having sex, Viagra or Levitra may be better for you.

Which is strongest Ed treatment; Viagra, Cialis or Levitra?

One difference between the drugs is how long they stay in your system. Cialis provides you with the ability to achieve and maintain an erection over a longer period than Viagra because it lasts up to 18 hours (why it’s given its moniker the weekender) while Viagra only lasts for about 4 to 6.

Both Viagra and Cialis can be taken 30 minutes before sexual activity, Cialis lasts much longer and is, and you may feel the effects of the drug up to 36 hours after you take it.

The fact that it comes in a low-dose (2.5 mg) version also means that Cialis can be taken every day. A daily dose will ensure that the drug’s always in your system.

Viagra can take 30 to 60 minutes to work in the body, while Levitra takes 60 minutes. The effects of both drugs last for about 4 hours.

Can I half my Viagra tablets?

Although not advised Erectile dysfunction (ED) pills like Viagra are commonly split and can be done so easily with a good splitter.

In order to create two pieces of pill that are similar in size and therefore dosage, don’t use a knife or scissors to cut your Viagra. Instead, buy a pill cutter at your local pharmacy. Cutting a pill in half can expose it to heat, moisture or air, causing it to deteriorate. If you are unsure feel free to contact us, it is best to start off on the lowest 25mg dose.

Can I take multiple ED treatments at the same time?

Cialis and Viagra are both highly effective in enabling erections in men who are suffering from ED as the blood flow to their penises are insufficient. But taking these drugs together could be hazardous to your health.

These are prescription medications, and your GP would not prescribe for both medicines to be taken at the same time. Cialis, Viagra, and Levitra all inhibit the same enzyme within the penis – Phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5). If you take Viagra, for example, PDE5 is saturated with Viagra, so adding Cialis into the bloodstream doesn’t really help you. In fact, it will more likely bring the negative side effects instead.

Taking both medications at the same time would be like taking an overdose of only one of them. The chances that you would experience rare side effects theoretically would be increased. Prolonged erections lasting over four hours require emergency treatment.

If one medication is not working as well as you think it should, try another one. You can try all until you know for sure which one works for best for you.

Can I still have a Drink when taking Viagra?

It may be safe to mix alcohol and Viagra when done in moderation. Viagra is the globes most popular treatment for men suffering from erectile dysfunction. However, alcohol is one of the reasons why you might be experiencing erectile dysfunction in the first place. Although alcohol may help you overcome anxiety, it can also have an adverse effect on your sexual function.

Drinking alcohol decreases the blood flow, which stays within your penis, which makes it harder for you to get and maintain an erection. If you’re taking Viagra because you have had erection problems in the past, it is best to avoid alcohol when taking the ED treatment.

In addition, alcohol and Viagra (and similar products like Viagra Connect or Sildenafil) can interact. Viagra lowers your blood pressure, as does alcohol. If your blood pressure level gets too low, you may experience a light-headedness, dizzy spells & fainting, headaches and even heart palpitations.

It is important that you limit your alcohol intake while you are taking Viagra, but it is safe to enjoy a small amount of alcohol, such as 2 - 3 units - so theirs is absolutely nothing wrong with having a glass of wine or a beer or 2.

It is not only advisable to limit your drinking while taking Viagra, but it can also help you combat ED and other sexual problems. Too much alcohol also increases your risk of certain conditions, which can lead to ED, such as prostate problems and low levels of testosterone.

Are there any risks taking illegal, recreational drugs in combination with Viagra?

You should only take Viagra under the instruction of your physician, and you should never mix it with other substances

It’s not uncommon for people to mix Viagra, amphetamine, cocaine, MDMA (ecstasy) or poppers, and this is particularly common in younger men who take Viagra. Viagra has become a recreationally abused drug by people who want to experiment sexually or are part of a scene

Medical professionals warn that mixing cocaine and Viagra or Viagra with any other stimulant can cause heart problems and may increase the chances of an erection that won’t go away. That can result in anatomical damage in certain circumstances.

When cocaine and Viagra are used together, it can cause something called serotonin syndrome as well, and in some severe cases, complications of mixing cocaine and Viagra can include seizures, an irregular heartbeat or a coma

Perhaps the most dangerous possible interaction between Viagra and MDMA is the theoretical risk that Viagra's vascular effects could interact dangerously with MDMA's heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature-increasing tendencies. MDMA is a strong stimulant, increasing heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature. Sildenafil, on the other hand, is a vasodilator and reduces blood pressure systemically

The other major concern with this combination is possibly increasing the risk of penile injury from long-lasting erection (called priapism).

The combination with Poppers is particularly dangerous as both drugs dilate blood vessels, which can result in a dangerous drop in blood pressure and possibly myocardial infarction or stroke.

The most dangerous effect of the combination is a serious drop in the blood pressure that can be fatal. By far, the most common side effect is a pounding headache. The combination of poppers and Viagra can also produce sickness or dizziness, or even syncope.

Is ED purely physical, or can it be caused by Stress?

The causes of ED can be either psychological or physical or both. The success of your treatment for physical causes depends on your condition. Studies show that psychological factors are the most common cause of ED. Psychological causes, like emotional and environmental factors, are usually curable. This also includes stress and anxiety.

Increased stress and anxiety can also increase your risk for other conditions that may cause ED, such as:

  • heart disease
  • high blood pressure
  • high cholesterol levels
  • obesity
  • excessive alcohol consumption

Mental health conditions like stress and anxiety can also affect how your brain signals your body’s physical response. In the case of an erection, stress and anxiety can interrupt how your brain sends messages to the penis to allow extra blood flow.

Why is there a difference in the costs of each of the ED treatments?

The reasons for the difference in pricing – in 2013, the producers of Viagra, Pfizer, lost their patent allowing generic manufacturers to begin producing their own version. The generic version is known as Sildenafil. Viagra is a brand name that only Pfizer can use. As Sildenafil is generic, its price is not under the control of a single manufacturer, and as it is produced by several different companies, so the price is competitive. Viagra, however, is a well-known brand name so it can command a premium price.

When you are buying Viagra, you are paying for the brand and the product which has been sold to millions. Sildenafil, as a generic medication, is cheaper than its branded counterpart.

When Should I take Viagra? Do I need to have an empty stomach?

There are several factors that can contribute to the overall effectiveness of the treatment within your body, most surprisingly being food and drink.  Ideally, you want to take Viagra on an empty stomach. If you take Viagra after a meal, foods that are rich in fats it may take longer for the medicine to work on you. For the drug to work it first must be absorbed from the stomach into your bloodstream. If you take the tablet after a heavy meal, it will effectively have to wait while you fully digested your meal, and this will delay the absorption into the bloodstream and thus the outcome of the Viagra.

Is there a “best before” date for my Viagra

Viagra, like all drugs, loses the effectiveness over time as the molecules within the drug break down.

There should be no side effects that come from taking an expired out of date Viagra, except for the side effects the actual drug itself.  Simply put as its breakdown, there is less of the drug to affect you overall, including the desired action.

With Viagra Five years from manufacture, it will be completely inert.  Until then, it will simply have a weaker effect than a complete, new dose, and the older the drug, the weaker the effect will be.  If you’d wish to extend the life of your Viagra tablets, you can put it in the fridge. A cool environment will help keep the drug active for longer as it prevents the breakdown of the molecules. You can take the old Viagra: just don’t expect the same lift as a new fresh Viagra.

Do Viagra tablets become less effective over time?

Viagra works by increasing blood flow to the penis in men whose erectile dysfunction is caused by underlying health conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure or diabetes. Sometimes Viagra may stop working after consistent use & a man builds a tolerance to it.
